Clotheslines Down Under

In Australia, clotheslines are far more prevalent than here in the US, due in large part to companies like Hills, leading the way in clean and efficient clothes drying technology for more than half a century now.

In the UK,the Linehanger Company has been at the forefront for years in efficient clothes drying without pegs, which means less ironing, which means your clothes last longer. We all have a contribution to make to lessen global warming.

The Hills Hoist has been an Australian icon for years and is still a favourite across most peoples homes in Aus.
There are all types available today and we all need to get behind this movment.

Unfortunately, Hills is no longer an Australian made product. As much as clotheslines clean the planet, Hills choose to manufacture in China, one of the worlds biggest polluters where they churn out thousands of these mass produced things. I would rather buy from a smaller, non mass produced, quality Australian made clotheslines such as the Austral range. You can buy them here, http://www.qualityclotheslines.net
