In Australia, clotheslines are far more prevalent than here in the US, due in large part to companies like Hills, leading the way in clean and efficient clothes drying technology for more than half a century now.

Unfortunately, Hills is no longer an Australian made product. As much as clotheslines clean the planet, Hills choose to manufacture in China, one of the worlds biggest polluters where they churn out thousands of these mass produced things. I would rather buy from a smaller, non mass produced, quality Australian made clotheslines such as the Austral range. You can buy them here, http://www.qualityclotheslines.net
